New Setting

The roleplay will now be jumping five years into the future, making it now 2177. Earth has constructed more faster-than-light ships and has made contact with several alien species. However, because many of these species are on the same technological level as the UTF Earth still hasn't advanced significantly in technology. Her ships still do not carry shields and there still is no such thing as FTL communications just yet. Despite this, Earth continues to expand into the galaxy and has established several colonies thanks largely in part to the Bahamut.

The specific setting of the roleplay will be the colony of Threshold on the planet Artemis in the Apollo system, a resource rich ice world with many different species living on it, some sentient and some not. These species have learned to cooperate with each other for the large part and many live among each other.
